Tennessee Titans
At 8-4 SU and 5-6-1 ATS, the Titans appeared to be comfortably on their way to locking up a playoff spot. But back-to-back road losses to a pair of non-playoff teams in Arizona and San Francisco has suddenly put Tennessee’s playoff chances in jeopardy.
Tennessee faces Los Angeles this Sunday and then the division-leading Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday in a tough pair of tests to close out the regular season.
The Titans fell to 0-3 SU and 1-2 ATS as a betting underdog in 2017 with last Sunday’s loss to the 49ers as 2.5-point underdogs. Tennessee is 4-15 SU and 5-14 ATS over its last 19 games as an underdog per the OddsShark NFL Database.
Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles bounced back from a shootout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles with a simply dominant performance last Sunday, blowing out the Seattle Seahawks 42-7. The win brought the Rams to 10-4 SU and 9-5 ATS and moved the team one step closer to its first playoff berth since 2004.
Todd Gurley had a remarkable performance in the win in gashing Seattle’s defense for 152 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on 21 carries and adding a receiving touchdown as well. The Rams are 7-2 SU and ATS over their last nine games.
Sunday’s total is set at 47.5 points. The OVER is 3-0 in the last three games between the Rams and Titans.
The Rams are one win or Seattle loss away from locking up the NFC West title. With the Seahawks playing in the late afternoon this Sunday, the Rams would love to lock up the division themselves with a road win over the struggling Titans in the early game.
Tennessee has won two of the last three games in this head-to-head series and is 3-0 ATS over that stretch.
