The Golden State Warriors are 23-3 straight up and 14-11-1 against the spread in 26 home games so far this season. Whoever hopes to defeat the Warriors this postseason will likely have to earn a win on their home court as Golden State looks to be in control for the NBA’s best record.
NBA championship 2017 odds: Warriors separating from pack on NBA title betting lines
As the NBA regular season rolls on, the Golden State Warriors continue to look like the team to beat as the clear favorite on the odds to win the championship at the sportsbooks.

Golden State is a -150 favorite to win the NBA championship this season at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Warriors have been the favorite to win the championship all season long, but their price has steadily climbed steeper as their strong play has held up and the Cleveland Cavaliers (+275 to win the title) have struggled.
Some might argue that the San Antonio Spurs (+750) could be a bigger threat to the Warriors than the Cavaliers this season as the Spurs have a much stronger emphasis on defense.
Bettors looking for value in the Western Conference should consider the Los Angeles Clippers at +2500 on the NBA title odds. Los Angeles’ odds to win the title have gone way down on the heels of a 3-7 SU and ATS run over the last few weeks.
The Clippers certainly don’t look like a serious threat in the West right now, but they are expected to be buyers at the trade deadline and could wind up pulling things together in time for the postseason when Chris Paul returns from his injury.
In the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics (+2000) are making the case that the Cavaliers might not be a sure thing for another trip to the NBA Finals.
The Celtics entered Thursday night’s action just 3.5 games behind the Cavaliers in the standings. Boston had a seven-game winning streak snapped Wednesday night in Sacramento, but was 20-6 SU and 14-11-1 ATS in its 26 previous games per the OddsShark NBA Database.
Other potential contenders to win the championship this season include the Houston Rockets (+1600), Toronto Raptors (+2500), Washington Wizards (+3300), and Utah Jazz (+4000).
Toronto was once considered to be the biggest threat to Cleveland in the Eastern Conference, but the team’s stock and spot in the standings has fallen due to a current 4-9 SU and 5-8 ATS slump.
