Cleveland rolled into the All-Star break on the heels of a nice 7-1 SU and ATS run, shaking out of the 4-7 SU and 3-8 ATS slump it was in before these last eight games. The Cavaliers have still left plenty to be desired on defense with at least 104 points surrendered in their last seven games, but some of those points have come late in games that are already out of reach.

Trend: The Cavaliers are 4-0 ATS in their last four games against the Knicks.
Trend: The UNDER is 8-2 in the last 10 games between the Cavaliers and Knicks.
Before losing to the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day, the Knicks actually owned a respectable 16-13 SU and 18-11 ATS record. The trajectory since then has been a total nosedive with New York going 7-21 SU and 12-16 ATS over its last 28 games, including a 1-5 SU and ATS run into the break.
New York still has time to turn things around and sneak into the postseason, but nothing about its recent play inspires much confidence that the team will do so.
Thursday night’s total is set at 223 points. The UNDER is 8-2 in the last 10 games between Cleveland and New York.
Each of the last four games between these two teams has been a comfortable Cleveland blowout. At home and with plenty of rest over the last week, the Cavaliers appear to have a pretty easy spot here to continue their hot streak.
