The Michigan Wolverines are 7-0 straight up and 6-1 against the spread over their last seven games. The Wolverines will try to stay hot against the Oregon Ducks this Thursday night.

No. 7 Michigan is a 1-point favorite in the Sweet 16 at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Peaking at the right time is key to success in the NCAA tournament, and the Wolverines are doing exactly that. After pulling off upsets over Purdue and Wisconsin en route to a Big Ten championship as the conference’s No. 8 seed, Michigan picked up another upset win as a lower seed in knocking off No. 2 Louisville as a 3-point underdog on Sunday.

The Wolverines are 12-2 SU and 10-4 ATS over their last 14 games, since going 4-6 SU and 3-7 ATS on the college basketball point spreads in their previous 10.

A season-ending injury to senior forward Chris Boucher, and a loss to Arizona in the Pac-12 Tournament, dampened the excitement around the No. 3 Oregon Ducks heading into March Madness. But with a come-from-behind 75-72 win over Rhode Island on Sunday, the Ducks showed off their resiliency and improved to 31-5 SU and 20-14-1 ATS on the season.

The Ducks are 13-2 SU and 9-6 ATS in their last 15 games played in the month of March, per the OddsShark College Basketball Database, and figure to be a tough out down the stretch.

The No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs have been an extremely reliable bet as a favorite this season, with a 27-1 SU and 20-7-1 ATS record in their last 28 games as the betting favorite. Gonzaga is going off as a 3-point favorite against the No. 4 West Virginia Mountaineers on Thursday.

In their last five instances as a favorite of three points or less, the Bulldogs are a perfect 5-0 SU.

The last time these two teams met was in December 2013, with Gonzaga coming out on top, 80-76, at West Virginia. The Mountaineers are 11-0 SU and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games coming off a loss in a head-to-head series, a trend that they hope to continue with an upset over the Bulldogs.

West Virginia looked dominant in an 83-71 win over Notre Dame on Saturday.
