The Elite Eight wraps up Sunday with Kentucky vs. North Carolina and South Carolina vs. Florida, with the Tar Heels and the Gators sitting as betting favorites at the sportsbooks.


No. 2 Kentucky is a 2.5-point underdog at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. In their second game as a betting underdog this season, the Wildcats took care of business against the UCLA Bruins on Friday in an 86-75 win.
The win brought Kentucky’s record to 14-0 SU and 6-6-1 ATS over its last 14 games. In the Wildcats’ last nine games against ACC teams they are 8-1 SU and 7-2 ATS.
No. 1 North Carolina bounced back from a disappointing offensive performance against Arkansas to drop 92 points on Butler on Friday, covering the spread as 7-point favorites in a 92-80 victory. The Tar Heels are 9-2 SU and 6-3-1 ATS over their last 11 games, all of which they were going off as favorites.
North Carolina has been strong as a small favorite in recent seasons with a 14-5 SU and 13-6 ATS record in its last 19 games as a favorite of three points or less per the OddsShark College Basketball Database.
The No. 4 Florida Gators are 27-3 SU and 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 games as a betting favorite. The Gators will have a chance to improve on that record as a 3-point favorite against the No. 7 South Carolina Gamecocks in the other Elite Eight matchup on Sunday.
Florida and Wisconsin played out one of the most entertaining games of the NCAA Tournament thus far, with the Gators coming away with a win in overtime on a buzzer-beating three-pointer.
These two teams have plenty of history as conference rivals in the SEC. Florida is 8-2 SU and 6-4 ATS in its last 10 games against the Gamecocks, but South Carolina is 2-1 SU and ATS on the college basketball lines in the last three games in this head-to-head series.
South Carolina came into March Madness making its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2004 and looking for its first tournament win since 1973. The Gamecocks have defied expectations with three wins by an average margin of victory of 15.7 points per game.
