Cavaliers vs. Heat 2017 odds: Cleveland is a small road favorite at Miami for Saturday
The Cleveland Cavaliers will try to pick up a rare road win over the Miami Heat on Saturday night as they hit the hardwood as small chalk in South Florida.

Cleveland is a 1.5-point road favorite in Miami at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Since LeBron James left Miami for Cleveland, the Heat are 4-0 SU and ATS with three outright upsets at home against the Cavaliers.
James and Kyrie Irving put on a show on offense in Friday night’s 135-130 road win over the Atlanta Hawks. Irving scored 43 points and had nine assists while James racked up 38 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists.
The win and cover snapped Cleveland out of its 1-2 SU and 0-3 ATS slump, but it may have cost the Cavaliers some valuable energy heading into their third road game in four nights on Saturday.
Over their last 16 games on the second night of a back-to-back, the Cavaliers are 5-11 SU and 4-12 ATS per the OddsShark NBA Database.
Betting Line / Total: Cleveland -1.5 / 215.5 Points
Trend: The UNDER is 4-1 in the Heat’s last five games.
Trend: The Cavaliers are 5-6 ATS in their last 11 road games against the Heat.
Miami will also be playing its third game in four nights on Saturday after falling 110-99 Friday night in Orlando. Since reeling off an improbable 13-0 SU and ATS run that spanned from the middle of January into February, the Heat have gone 4-4 SU and ATS over their last eight games.
All eight of those games have been relatively lopsided one way or the other as Miami’s four wins came by an average of 17.8 points per game, and the four losses came by an average of 8.8 points per game.
Saturday night’s total is set at 215.5 points. The UNDER is 4-1 in Miami’s last five games overall.
The last game between these two teams wasn’t competitive, as the Cavaliers rolled to a 114-84 victory on their home court. Miami will get two consecutive chances to remedy that blowout loss with this home game against Cleveland on Saturday and another tilt back in Cleveland on Monday.
The Heat will be happy to not have to deal with Kevin Love this time around after the forward led Cleveland in scoring with 28 points back in December.
