North Carolina is going off at +190 to win the ACC Tournament at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Tar Heels ended the regular season on an impressive 5-1 SU and 4-1-1 ATS run that included wins over Louisville, Virginia, and Duke. Holding the top seed in the tournament bracket, the Tar Heels will face the winner of Wednesday's Syracuse (+2500 to win the ACC Tournament) and Miami (+3300) matchup on Thursday.
The Louisville Cardinals and Virginia Cavaliers both sit right behind North Carolina on the board to win this tournament, going off at +400 each on those college basketball betting lines.
Virginia was in contention for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament with a 17-4 SU and 14-6 ATS record at the start of February, but a 1-5 SU and ATS slump caused the Cavaliers’ stock to plummet. The Cavaliers got back on track with a 3-0 SU and ATS run to end the regular season that included a win over North Carolina.
The winner of Tuesday’s Georgia Tech (+10000) vs. Pittsburgh (+10000) matchup will face Virginia on Wednesday.
The Cardinals had a 24-7 SU and 18-11 ATS record that was tarnished by six road losses; the team’s only loss at home this season came against Virginia. Playing the ACC Tournament at a neutral location at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn could be beneficial to a team that has been shaky in hostile road environments.
Clemson (+6600) and NC State (+15000) play on Tuesday for the chance to take on Duke on Wednesday, and Louisville will play the winner of that game on Thursday.
Duke (+450) was the preseason favorite to win the ACC, but a disappointing 23-8 SU and 11-18-1 ATS regular season coupled with a 1-3 SU and 0-3-1 ATS slump to end the regular season have the Blue Devils looking purely like a speculative play at this point.
Bettors looking for value may take a shot on Florida State (+650) or Notre Dame (+1200).
