The Golden State Warriors are 15-1 straight up and 11-3-2 against the spread over their last 16 games. The Warriors will try to continue their hot run this Wednesday night, when they host the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 2 of their first-round series.

Golden State is a 13.5-point favorite in Oakland at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This is the fifth straight game in which the Warriors are going off as a double-digit favorite.

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors’ depth was on full display in the team’s 121-109 series opening win against the Trail Blazers. Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry combined for 61 points of offense.

But the team’s best player on Saturday night may have been Draymond Green, who scored 19 points and added 12 rebounds and nine assists, with a team-leading +15 scoring differential on the floor. Golden State simply has too many weapons for which opposing teams need to account.

With Saturday’s win, Golden State improved to 11-1 SU and 7-5 ATS over its last 12 games against the Portland Trail Blazers, per the OddsShark NBA Database.

Betting Line / Total: Golden State -13.5 / 219.5 Points

Trend: The Warriors are 7-5 ATS in their last 12 games against the Blazers.

Trend: The Blazers are 8-16-2 ATS in their last 26 playoff games.

Portland Trail Blazers

What makes their loss in Game 1 so frustrating for the Trail Blazers is the fact that the team couldn’t have played much better. Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum both started the game red-hot and finished with a combined 75 points, led by McCollum’s playoff career-high 41 points.

Despite the offensive output from the team’s two offensive stars, Portland still lost the game by 12 points. The Trail Blazers are 9-17 SU and 8-16-2 ATS over their last 26 postseason games.

Wednesday night’s total is set at 219.5 points. The OVER is 5-1 in the last six postseason games between these two teams, and 13-3 in the last 16 games between these two teams overall.

In the last 12 games between the Warriors and Trail Blazers, Golden State has averaged a staggering 123.2 points per game. Portland has covered the spread in each of the last three games in this head-to-head series, and has the offensive firepower to at least keep the game close.

Facing this red-hot and super deep Warriors team, the Trail Blazers will need to keep playing their best to avoid being totally blown away.
