Manny Pacquiao will go down as one of the best fighters of his generation, entering this bout with a 59-6-2 career record. Pacquiao will try to earn the 60th win of his professional career against Jeff Horn this Sunday in Brisbane, Australia.
Pacquiao vs. Horn odds: Manny Pacquiao clear betting favorite for Brisbane matchup
Manny Pacquiao will go into a hostile environment on Sunday to take on Jeff Horn in Australia, with the sportsbooks giving Pacquiao the nod on the betting lines.

Pacquiao is a -600 betting favorite to win this WBO welterweight title fight at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Unlike most fights featuring big names like Pacquiao, this boxing card will not headline a pay-per-view event, and instead will be shown on ESPN. The local Sunday afternoon start time in Australia will allow for the fight to be watched in North America on Saturday night.
From 2005 to 2011, Manny Pacquiao was on top of the boxing world with 15 straight wins and a 54-3-2 record. Back-to-back losses to Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez brought his momentum to a halt, but he has gone 5-1 in six fights since those two losses including two wins over Timothy Bradley.
Pacquiao’s loss to Floyd Mayweather in 2015 was much maligned for its lack of action, but Mayweather’s impeccable defense coupled with Pacquiao trying to fight through a shoulder injury set the stage for that dud. The welterweight’s most recent fight against Jesse Vargas was much more exciting and felt more like a classic Pacquiao victory.
Despite being the clear draw in this fight, Pacquiao has put himself at a disadvantage by agreeing to take the fight at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Jeff Horn is one of the top young boxers in Australia today, compiling a 16-0-1 record as a 29-year-old with 11 knockouts. Horn is an unproven commodity in the boxing world, and that could work to his advantage as he will be facing an international superstar that will be much easier for which to research and prepare. The Australian is a +400 underdog on Sunday.
Even in his advanced age, Pacquiao is still an excellent boxer and should be able to win this fight if he is on his game. But if Pacquiao is unable to get up for this fight, he could leave the door open to an upset as Horn will undoubtedly be treating this as the fight of his life, especially in front of tens of thousands of supportive fans in the stands.
