The Golden State Warriors are a perfect 14-0 straight up and 10-4 against the spread through 14 postseason games. The Warriors hope to keep rolling this Wednesday night on the road in Game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Warriors vs. Cavaliers, NBA Finals odds 2017: Golden State set as road favorite for Game 3
The Golden State Warriors will try to keep their undefeated postseason intact with a win in Game 3 of the NBA Finals in Cleveland against the Cavaliers on Wednesday night.

Golden State is a 3.5-point road favorite at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The line opened with the Warriors as 2-point favorites, but it has moved steadily in the week with early bettors supporting Golden State.
Golden State Warriors
The first two games in this series haven’t looked competitive, as the Warriors blew Cleveland out 113-91 in Game 1 and 132-113 in Game 2. This fits the mold of Golden State’s entire postseason to this point.
Averaging 118.9 points per game on offense and allowing only 102 points per game on defense, the Warriors own a staggering point differential of +16.9 per game. Kevin Durant followed up his 38-point performance in Game 1 with a 33-point night in Game 2.
In nine road games at Cleveland since 2015, the Warriors are 4-5 SU and ATS per the OddsShark NBA Database.
Betting Line / Total: Golden State -3.5 / 226.5 Points
Cleveland Cavaliers
LeBron James racked up a triple-double in Game 2, scoring 29 points with 11 rebounds and 14 assists. But the supporting cast behind the “Big 3” of James, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving continues to be an issue when facing a team as deep and balanced as Golden State.
Another issue for Cleveland in this series has been three-point shooting; the Cavaliers averaged 43.5% from behind the arc through the first three rounds and are shooting just 31.7% against the Warriors so far. Cleveland is 5-13 SU and 8-10 ATS in its last 18 games as a home underdog.
Wednesday night’s total is set at 226.5 points. The UNDER is 8-2 in Cleveland’s last 10 games as a home dog.
For the second straight year, these two teams enter Game 3 in Cleveland on the heels of two straight Warriors blowout wins. Last year, Cleveland was able to win four of the final five games and take the series. With improved play from their depth players and improved three-point shooting, the Cavaliers can certainly make these games more competitive.
But to beat the Warriors outright, they’ll need to find a way to slow down Durant and Stephen Curry on defense.
