Baltimore Ravens

After two impressive double-digit wins over Cincinnati and Cleveland to start the season, the wheels fell off for the Ravens last Sunday in a 44-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, England.

Nothing went right in that one as Baltimore put up only 186 yards of total offense and turned the ball over three times while allowing 410 yards and four passing touchdowns. Baltimore will try to prove that that one was just a fluke with a stronger performance this week.

In their last 11 games against AFC North opponents, the Ravens are 10-1 ATS per the OddsShark NFL Database.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Over the course of their sensational 9-0 SU and 7-1-1 ATS run late last season, the Steelers averaged 25.9 points per game and scored less than 24 points only once. Since then, Pittsburgh is 2-2 SU and 1-3 ATS and averaging 20.2 points per game.

The Steelers should have a nice game tape to study after Jacksonville’s slashing of this Baltimore defense, which could help Pittsburgh bounce back from last week’s disappointing road loss to the Chicago Bears. Pittsburgh is 5-0 SU in its last five games against its division rivals.

Sunday’s total is set at 42 points. The UNDER is 12-2 in Pittsburgh’s last 14 early afternoon games.

With the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals both struggling and off to 0-3 SU starts, the AFC North is shaping up to be a two-horse race between these two hated rivals. The Ravens and Steelers don’t meet again until Week 14, so this head-to-head clash for early control of the division could help set the tone for the rest of the season.

Each of the last four games in this series have been decided by a touchdown or less, and Sunday’s should be another hard fought battle.
