The Cavaliers played well in the month of February, ending the month on a 5-2 SU and 4-3 ATS run. But despite the team’s new roster enjoying some early success, Cleveland still has its issues on defense, allowing at least 110 points in four of its last five games.
These defensive woes look even worse when the offense isn’t surging, as was the case in home losses of 110-103 against Washington and 110-94 to San Antonio.

Philadelphia 76ers
The 76ers ripped off their longest winning streak of the season last month going 7-0 SU and 5-2 ATS over a stretch that included six home games. Philadelphia ended February with back-to-back road losses to Washington and Miami however, falling to 0-5 SU and 0-4-1 ATS in its last five games as a betting underdog.
This team is well on its way to its first winning season and playoff berth since 2011-12, but with a 13-17 SU and 13-15-2 ATS record on the road, the 76ers need to improve if they hope to develop into a legitimate contender.
Thursday’s total is set at 222.5 points at online betting sites. The UNDER is 15-5 in the last 20 games between Philadelphia and Cleveland.
Both of these teams have plenty to prove on Thursday. Cleveland would love to get back to being a more dominant force at home while Philadelphia could use a big win on the road for a confidence booster down the stretch. This should be an interesting matchup between two of the Eastern Conference’s best teams.
