The New York City FC, Columbus Crew, Vancouver Whitecaps and Los Angeles FC are all off to perfect 2-0-0 starts through the first two weeks of the 2018 MLS season. Two of those four teams will be on the road in this week’s MLS action.
MLS odds 2018: Betting preview and trends roundup for this weekend’s action
The 2018 MLS season continues this weekend, with undefeated Vancouver set as a large underdog at the sportsbooks on the road at Atlanta.

Vancouver is a +475 road underdog in Atlanta this Saturday night at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Atlanta United is a -185 favorite to win at home with draw odds going off at +335. Atlanta cashed in as a -180 favorite last weekend against DC United, bouncing back from a 4-0 road loss in Week 1 with a 3-1 win at home. United is 12-3-3 through its first 18 home games in franchise history.
The Crew will also try to keep their undefeated season intact with a road test this Saturday going off at +200 to win and +255 to force a draw on the road against the Philadelphia Union. Philadelphia (+125) also hasn’t picked up a loss yet this season going 1-0 with a 2-0 win over New England in Week 1. Columbus is just 1-4 in its last five games against the Union.
Los Angeles FC is out of action this weekend. New York City FC is at home on Saturday afternoon as a -220 favorite hosting Orlando City (+575 to win, +370 to draw). New York City finished with the second best record in the MLS last season at 16-9-9 and is looking to improve on that with a strong campaign in 2018. Orlando City is still looking for its first win of the season after going 0-1-1 through its first two matches.
After picking up a disappointing 2-0 loss in their season debut two weeks ago, Toronto FC (+140) would love to get themselves into the win column with a road win on Saturday over the Montreal Impact. Toronto FC is the favorite on the odds to win the MLS Cup.
Montreal (+185 to win, +245 to draw) has surrendered five goals through its first two matches and is 0-2 in those two games. These two Canadian teams are at very different stages in their development as Toronto entered this season as the defending champions and Montreal finished 2017 with 17 losses and a ninth place finish in the Eastern Conference.
