The Portland Trail Blazers are 13-0 straight up and 12-1 against the spread over their last 13 games. The Trail Blazers will have their streak put to the ultimate test this Tuesday night when they host the Houston Rockets.

Portland is a 4.5-point home underdog at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. It isn’t often that you see a team on a 10-0 SU and ATS run going off as an underdog at home, but that goes to show the quality of the opponent in these Rockets.

Rockets at Trail Blazers OddsShark Matchup Report

Portland Trail Blazers

Portland has just been on an absolute tear over its last month of play. Averaging 111.9 points per game on offense while allowing only 99.8 points per game, the Trail Blazers have won their last 13 games by an average margin of victory of 12.1 points per game.

Included on this list of wins are two wins against Golden State, a win over Cleveland, and upset road wins over Utah and the Los Angeles Clippers. The Trail Blazers are a perfect 9-0 SU and ATS over their last nine home games.

In their last 12 games as home underdogs, the Trail Blazers are 9-3 ATS with six outright upsets per the OddsShark NBA Database.

Houston Rockets

The Rockets brushed off their recent road loss to the Toronto Raptors by ripping off a five-game winning streak, going 3-2 ATS over that stretch. With these five wins, Houston is now a staggering 22-1 SU over its last 23 games with a 14-7 ATS record over its last 21.

With a 56-14 SU and 37-32-1 ATS record on the season, the Rockets are in the driver’s seat to secure home court throughout the postseason, a scary proposition for the rest of the league.

Tuesday night’s total is set at 214.5 points. The OVER is 6-1 in the last seven meetings between these two teams.

The Trail Blazers’ recent surge of 13 straight wins has catapulted the team into the third seed in the Western Conference. Portland looks the part of a legitimate playoff contender and would enter a potential playoff series against Golden State with confidence given its recent wins over the defending champions. A game against the league’s top team will be another excellent test for this group.
