The Golden State Warriors are still the favorites on the odds to win the NBA Championship despite ending the regular season on an unimpressive 7-10 straight up and 6-11 against the spread run. The Warriors will kick their postseason off with a seven-game series against the San Antonio Spurs starting on Saturday.
NBA playoffs odds 2018: Warriors, Rockets headline NBA championship betting lines
The Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets enter the postseason as the favorites at the sportsbooks on the odds to win the NBA championship this spring.

Golden State is going off at +135 to win the NBA title at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The team will be without Stephen Curry for the first round but is still a -1100 favorite squaring off against the San Antonio Spurs on the NBA series prices. The Spurs are an 8-point underdog in Saturday’s series opener and are +775 to win the series.
San Antonio managed to make it into the postseason with a 47-35 SU and 40-38-4 ATS record despite being without their franchise player, Kawhi Leonard, for all but nine games this season. Leonard is still out indefinitely with his quad injury as the Spurs are +6000 underdogs to win the NBA Championship.
The projected Western Conference Finals between the Houston Rockets and Golden State may be the de facto championship series as Houston is a virtual co-favorite with Golden State to win the championship at +165. Houston is the only first round favorite bigger than Golden State going off at a staggering -3000 to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves (+1500). The Rockets are also the biggest chalk on the board this weekend going off as 11.5-point favorites in Game 1.
The Eastern Conference is also expected to be a two-horse race between the Cleveland Cavaliers (+650 to win the NBA Championship) and the Toronto Raptors (+850). Both of these teams are going off as -650 favorites to win their first round series as Cleveland takes on Indiana (+500 to win the series) and Toronto clashes with Washington (+500). Despite the identical series odds, Toronto is a bigger favorite in Game 1 at -8 than the Cavaliers are at -6.5.
Value bettors may be enticed by the Philadelphia 76ers at +1500 to win the championship. Philadelphia closed out the regular season on a 16-0 SU and 11-5 ATS run and is a -465 favorite to win its series against the Miami Heat (+390). If the top four seeds in the East advance into the second round, Toronto would face Cleveland while Philadelphia would face a Boston Celtics team that doesn’t have Kyrie Irving for the playoffs.
