The 76ers surged into the playoffs and into the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-0 SU and 11-5 ATS run to end the regular season. The momentum has carried over into the first round as Philadelphia owns a commanding 3-1 series lead after bouncing back from a loss in Game 2 to win both Game 3 and Game 4 on the road in Miami.
Philadelphia is an impressive 9-0 SU and 7-2 ATS over its last nine road games which should help the team moving forward this postseason.
In their last five games as a home favorite of 10 points or more, the 76ers are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS per the OddsShark NBA Database.
Miami Heat
Miami had an impressive response to its 130-103 loss to Philadelphia in Game 1, grabbing a 113-103 road win as 6.5-point underdogs in Game 2. Unfortunately for the Heat, Joel Embiid returned from the orbital injury that had kept him out for the first two games of the series to help tip the scales back in Philadelphia’s favor in Miami.
The Heat are just 3-8 ATS over their last 11 games and 2-5 SU over their last seven.
Tuesday night’s total is set at 211 points. The UNDER is 7-1 in Miami’s last eight games as a double-digit underdog.
The writing appears to be on the wall in this one. After failing to keep this series close with back-to-back losses at home, it is difficult to see Miami turning the tides in Philadelphia. Four of Miami’s last five losses have come by 20 points or more.
