The Golden State Warriors are 5-0 straight up and 3-2 against the spread at home this postseason. The Warriors will try to extend their postseason home winning streak to six games and advance into the conference finals with a win at home over the New Orleans Pelicans Tuesday night.

Golden State is an 11.5-point home favorite in Game 5 at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The defending champions failed to cover the spread in a 121-116 win over New Orleans in Game 2 as 11-point favorites at home after covering it with a 123-101 win in Game 1 as 7.5-point favorites.

Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry hasn’t shown too many signs of rust in his return to action, averaging 42.9% from behind the arc and 23.3 points per game since re-entering the Warriors’ lineup in Game 2.

The Warriors suffered a surprising 119-100 loss in Game 3 as 4.5-point road favorites that made it look like this series might be more competitive than originally thought, but a 118-92 win as 6-point favorites in Game 4 quickly flipped the script back to the status quo. Kevin Durant led the way in that one with 38 points on 27 shots from the floor.

The Warriors have won each of their last 14 games as a double-digit favorite outright and are 7-7 ATS in those 14 games per the OddsShark NBA Database.

New Orleans Pelicans

Anthony Davis has been a force this postseason averaging 29.6 points per game and 12.8 rebounds per game through New Orleans’ first eight games. The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the best players in the world, but he finds himself trapped in an era that features one of the greatest super-teams ever assembled in the Warriors.

New Orleans is 2-8 SU in its last 10 games against Golden State, but one of those two wins was a road upset of 126-120 in April.

Tuesday’s total is set at 227 points. The UNDER is 7-4 in New Orleans’ last 11 road games.

To have a shot at staving off elimination on Tuesday night, the Pelicans will need to have an excellent shooting night like the one they had in Game 3 when they shot 50% from the field and 45.2% from three-point range. This Golden State team just has too many weapons to contain on defense.
