England vs. Panama odds 2018: Kane and company heavy betting favorites for Sunday
England can advance into the knockout stage with three points from a win this Sunday against Panama, with the sportsbooks making them big favorites on the World Cup odds.

The English national team is going off at a betting line of -500 to take care of business against Panama at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Panama will try to pull off a huge upset as +1600 underdogs, or at least to earn a point with the draw in this match paying +500.

In team captain Harry Kane, the English may finally have the answer to their World Cup woes. Tied 1-1 late in its World Cup opener against Tunisia, it appeared that England might be on its way to the type of disappointing result that has become synonymous with this national team.
Instead, Kane scored his second goal of the game in the 91st minute to secure a victory for his country. The Tottenham Hotspur striker is one of the best goal scorers in the world, and his talents have translated on the international stage with 10 goals in his last eight caps for England.
Kane’s two goal effort has moved the superstar’s odds to win the Golden Boot in Russia down to +800. There should be plenty of opportunities to add to his total against Panama.
With a 6-5-5 record through 16 World Cup qualifying matches, Panama qualified for the World Cup for the first time in history this year. That in and of itself is an accomplishment for the team and its supporters to be proud of, but the team’s inexperience and skill gap against Belgium were clear in a 3-0 defeat. Panama is just 1-1-4 over its last six games.
Sunday’s total is set at 2.5 goals. England may have to do most of the work as Panama has scored only one goal over its last six games.
Fortunately for Panama, its last game of the group against Tunisia has a chance at being competitive. This game on the other hand will probably look like the Belgium game did with England as the clearly superior team this time around.
Of course, as any England fan would tell you, no sure thing is a sure thing when it comes to England and the World Cup.
