Brazil is unbeaten in its last 18 games, putting together a dominant record of 15-3-0 over that stretch. The World Cup favorites can lock their spot in the knockout stage up with a draw, but will likely be going for a win this Wednesday when they take on Serbia.
Brazil vs. Serbia odds 2018: Sportsbooks favor Brazilians in Wednesday World Cup matchup
Brazil and Serbia both control their destiny in Group E heading into this last group stage match at the World Cup, but the sportsbooks give Neymar and company the edge.

The Brazilians are a -200 betting favorite to defeat Serbia at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Serbia would move into the next round with an upset win as +550 underdogs or be left to the mercy of a Costa Rica upset over Switzerland and tiebreakers if this game ends in a draw at +340.
Group E: Serbia vs. Brazil
When: Wednesday, June 27, 2:00 p.m. ET
Where: Otkrytie Arena, Moscow, Russia
Betting Line / Total: Brazil -200 / 2.5 Goals
After a disappointing 1-1 result against Switzerland in its World Cup opener, Brazil narrowly avoided complete disaster in its next match against Costa Rica. It took 91 minutes before a 0-0 tie in that game was eventually broken, and a Neymar goal in the 97th minute made the 2-0 final look far better than the game did for the Brazilian side.
The 2018 World Cup has been a frustrating one for Neymar so far as he has been given very little room to work with as opposing teams have made it a point to pester him, but Brazil must hope that their superstar gets a spark from his late goal last Friday.
Coming off a 1-0 win over Costa Rica in its World Cup opener, Serbia got off to an absolute dream start against Switzerland, scoring the game’s first goal in the fifth minute of play. That lead was eventually conceded when Switzerland scored in the 52nd minute, and then Serbia took a crushing blow as Switzerland scored the game-winning goal in the match’s 90th minute.
Even had Serbia held on for the draw it still would have in all likelihood needed at least a draw from this match, but now the Serbs are in the unenviable position of trying the beat a Brazilian squad that hasn’t been beaten in 18 games.
Wednesday’s total is set at 2.5 goals. Six of Serbia’s last nine games have gone UNDER 2.5 goals.
This has been far from a dominant start for Brazil in 2018. Brazil will own the skill advantage in this game, but if Serbia can find an early goal and follow in the group’s footsteps of frustrating Neymar, this game could potentially produce some late group drama.
