Warriors at Cavaliers OddsShark Matchup Report

Golden State Warriors

On a night where Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry couldn’t find their shot from the floor, Kevin Durant picked up the slack with a phenomenal game. Durant racked up 43 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists in the masterful performance, outscoring all four of his fellow starters combined.

No other player on the court had more than 11 points for the Warriors in Game 3, but seven players chipped in with eight points or more.

With Wednesday’s win, Golden State continued its total dominance over the Cavaliers, improving to 10-1 SU and 8-2-1 ATS in its last 11 games against Cleveland per the OddsShark NBA Database.

Cleveland Cavaliers

If the Cavaliers are going to find a way back into this series, it will need to start on defense. The Warriors are 14-0 SU and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games in which they scored at least 110 points and 2-10 SU and 1-11 ATS in their last 12 games when scoring below 110 points.

Slowing down this generational Golden State offense is easier said than done, but Cleveland needs to try something new after getting torched for 118.7 points per game so far in the NBA Finals.

Friday night’s total is set at 215 points. The UNDER is 10-3 in Golden State’s last 13 games.

It isn’t a good sign for Cleveland that on a night that Stephen Curry went 3-for-16 from the field and 1-for-10 from three-point range the Cavaliers still lost by eight points at home. To upset this Warriors team, it seems it will take a near-perfect night from LeBron James on offense and a defensive effort to keep all three of Golden State’s top weapons in check; a tall task by any measure.
