English Premier League Saturday: Arsenal Holds-Off Birmingham City, Manchester United Drawn At Home
- Arsenal 2, Birmingham City 1 - Marouane Chamakh's goal broke a halftime tie, giving Arsenal three points. Jack Wilshire was shown a straight red card in the match's final moments and will be suspended for the Gunners' match with Manchester City.
- Bolton Wanderers 2, Stoke City 1 - Rory Delap's equalizer, just after halftime, went for naught as Ivan Klasnic's stoppage time winner gave the Trotters their second victory of the year.
- Fulham 1, Tottenham Hotspur 2 - Tom Huddlestone's blast held up as Spurs sent Fulham to their first loss of the season. Spurs, like rival Arsenal, are amongst the group with 14 points.
- Manchester United 2, West Bromwich Albion 2 - Edwin van der Sar's howler cost Manchester United two points. The Red Devils could be fourth come Monday.
- Newcastle United 2, Wigan Athletic 2 - Ultimately a good point for Wigan, though giving-up a two goal lead will obfuscate that. Fabricio Coloccini's goal near the death saves the Magpies.
- Wolverhampton Wanderers 1, West Ham United 1 - Tough points to drop for Wolves, failing to capitalize on a visit from the league's bottom team. Mark Noble's equalizer early in the second half was the match's last goal.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United and Spurs all sit on 14 points, four behind Chelsea, with West Brom sitting sixth with 12.
