Everton-Liverpool: Tim Cahill Finishes Seamus Coleman’s Work, Puts Everton Up 1-0

After a dull first half hour defined more by chippy-ness than play, Everton has gone up in the 34th minute against Liverpool, with Tim Cahill going upper ninety from six yards out to make it 1-0, Toffees.

Much of the play's work came from Seamus Coleman, who took a ball from 28 yards out and made for the line through the right side of the Liverpool area. Just before the byline, the Irish right back cut the ball back to Cahill who, from the six's right elbow, beat Pepe Reina high for the match's opening goal.
