A fantastic passing sequence has led to a Tigres goal to put them ahead in the first half of el Clasico Universitario. The defender exchanged passes with Lucas Lobos and Damien Alvarez on the left flank, ultimately resulting in him having an opportunity to shoot from the center of the pitch, 20 yards away from goal. Juninho made the most of his opportunity, drilling a hard shot that appeared to take a deflection before skipping past Pumas goalkeeper Sergio Bernal.
Tigres 1-0 Pumas: Juninho Puts Tigres In Control
Tigres had no problem passing circles around the Pumas defense during the move. Maybe last week was just a fluke return to form and Pumas still don’t have their defensive issues sorted. The strike wasn’t anything more than adequate, they just got straight up skinned. Tigres are good, but they aren’t pass circles around your defense in a tiny area for a minute good. Since scoring the goal, Tigres are looking confident and have much more of the ball than Pumas.
