It took only four minutes into the second half for Rangers to level the Old Firm derby. Midfielder Steven Davis whipped in a fantastic free kick that found big Northern Irish international attacker Kyle Lafferty. He attempted to direct the ball at goal but hit Glen Loovens instead. The result was the same though, as Loovens had absolutely no chance to clear the ball and it deflected off him into the back of the net for an own goal.
Celtic 1-1 Rangers: Gers Equalize Quickly
It was even at worst for Rangers in the first half and they will see their goal as well deserved. Neither team will be content with a draw and both will be looking to attack and find a winner. We haven’t seen much of leading scorer Kenny Miller yet, maybe he’ll arrive with a bang.
