Well, sometimes teams just need a little luck to get themselves back on track and it seems as if Chelsea are no different. The Blues have opened the scoring in the 61st thanks to a decent run from Didier Drogba and Drogba's cross into Florent Malouda who only needed to tap in. The only problem with the opener? Drogba was well offside when he was released by Michael Essien.

However, somehow and miraculously, the linesman didn’t spot the infraction. So what does this tell us about Chelsea? First off, never count out the defending Champions at home and more importantly, don’t bet other members of the SB Nation Soccer staff a six-pack of German Lager that Bolton look poised to nick this match before at least the 80th minute.
While the goal has done more in terms of opening up the match, Chelsea remain far from their attacking best. Bolton came close to leveling the score at one a piece through a Stuart Holden strike but John Terry was able to block the shot with his body to deny the U.S. International. With just over twenty minutes remaining, Bolton are very much in the match.
