After a 3-0 drubbing in the first half of their match against Brescia at the San Siro, A.C. Milan let off the gas in the second half, coasting to a 3-0 full time victory. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the best player on the pitch, and he was substituted off in the 70th minute for his efforts. Milan looked decent going forward, but weren’t attacking with anywhere near the same cutthroat intent as they were in the first half, as they were very much aware that Brescia posed absolutely no threat. It seemed like the hosts felt sorry for the visitors and didn’t feel like embarrassing them, and for that, Brescia should probably be grateful.
A.C. Milan Vs. Brescia: 3-0 Full Time, Milan Take Pity On The Little Sisters Of The Poor
Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s setup of Kevin-Prince Boateng for the first goal in the 4th minute was brilliant, as was his goal in the 30th minute. He was probably the most creative player on the pitch and his first touch was impeccable throughout the match. Robinho’s poacher’s instincts on the second goal, in the 28th minute, were impressive as well. Brescia are hardly top quality opposition, but any time one top flight professional team can thoroughly dispose of another in just 30 minutes, it’s impressive.
A.C. Milan now sit at the top of Serie A, three points clear of second placed Lazio. They are now approximately eleventy billion (or ten) points ahead of rivals Inter Milan.
