Houston Dynamo Will Get About $2.5 Million Per Year From New Shirt Sponsor

As SB Nation/Houston discovered last week, the Houston Dynamo not only are unveiling a new shirt next year, but they also have a new sponsor. Now, we are learning how much that new sponsor will pay for the right to be emblazoned across those bright orange shirts.

Greenstar Recycling, a Texas-based company, has signed a five-year, $12.7 million contract, according to the Houston Chronicle. Greenstar replaces Amigo Energy, which had been paying about $2 million per season since 2007.
