UEFA Champions League: Klaas-Jan Huntelaar Goal Seals Schalke’s 2-0 Win Over Benfica

Back from the dead, we can call Schalke, their 2-0 win over Benfica putting them in second place in Champions League’s Group B.

The victory was sealed in the 85th minute when substitute Jermaine Jones’s cross was headed home be Klass-Jan Huntelaar, giving Schalke their two goal cushion.

The win furthers a resurgence for Schalke which, having failed to win in first five Bundesliga and Champions League matches, have picked-up seven points in their last three games.
