Carlos Tevez has produced the game's quality moment thus far in just the fourth minute after the restart. Tevez collected the ball from Nigel de Jong on the edge of the box in what was City's first attack of the second half and beat three defenders on his way to a brilliant solo goal.
Manchester City Vs. Wolves: Carlos Tevez Individual Brilliance Puts City Up
Call it a bit of pirouetting, side-stepping, or Messi-like dribbling, but Tevez has again proved he’s one of the league’s best attackers and has put City up 2-1 at home while at it. Odd though that Wolves have done very little wrong on the day yet find themselves down a goal when the game’s early moments provided such promise for the visitors.
Soon after Tevez's goal, Roberto Mancini has replaced Kolo Toure with Joleon Lescott in central defense due to what looks to be a slight injury from Toure. With the substitution, Lescott is facing his old club Wolves for the first time since he left Wolverhampton in 2006.
