The goals are flying in now at Eastlands as Manchester City have scored their second in five minutes and third of the match to take a commanding 3-1 lead as they pursue top spot. While Kolo Toure opened the day's scoring just before the half, his brother Yaya has now also scored in what was a brilliant move from City.

On a quick counter, Toure found Dzeko but continued his run into the box where Dzeko returned the ball to Toure who was in alone on Wayne Hennessey's goal. The Ivorian took his chance well and easily beat Hennessey for City's third of the day. It was a nice 1-2 that broke down Wolves' defense rather easily.
When looking back on his side’s performance, maybe Mick McCarthy will have wanted to take the field during the second half a bit more conservatively. Attempting to match the firepower of City at Eastlands is no easy feat and it seems as if McCarthy thought his side could match the pace and intensity of City. While the game still has 30 minutes left to play out, Wolves look all but defeated as a two goal deficit is likely too big of a hole to climb out of.
