Manchester City 1-0 Leicester City - Near the 15 minute mark, the captain’s put City ahead. Carlos Tévez bowled his way into the Leicester City before unleashed a 16-yard blast. Rocketing into the top of Leicester’s net, the Tévez goal gives the hosts an early lead.

Cardiff City 0-0 Stoke City - And in the one match where the lower division side was thought to have a good chance, Cardiff City has had the only read chance of the match, with second choice `keeper Thomas Sorensen tested by Daniel Drinkwater within 10 minutes.
