MLS Supplemental Draft 2011: Third Round Recap

The third and final round of the 2011 MLS Supplemental Draft is complete. As expected a few teams have chosen not to make their final pick, which the more I think about it seems like a complete waste. Were I in charge of one of these teams I’d attempt to trade the slot for $5 of allocation money just to see how Garber reacted. Also, does it seem to anyone else that being picked after a team passed would be sort of a downer?

The entire third round, pick by pick:

37) Vancouver-Santiago Bedoya, D, Northeastern
38) Portland-Taylor Mueller, D, Washington
39) DC-Pass
40) Chivas-Curtis Ushedo, D, Alabama-Birmingham
