It was a strong Premier League road win for Liverpool who looked quite good in the process. Saturday's victory marks Liverpool's second away win of the season, a quite astonishing stat but one that will hopefully spark a turn around for the club, at least as far as supporters are concerned. Raul Meireles was brilliant in an advanced central midfield role and Fernando Torres was back to his finishing best.

Kenny Dalglish also grabs his first win as Liverpool boss while plenty of work is still needed for the Anfield outfit if they hope to surge up the Premier League table. Even though a determined Wolves side dominated possession late on, Liverpool were still able to keep a clean sheet away from home and were equally as effective in attack as they were behind the ball.
Two goals from Fernando Torres either side of a Raul Meireles wonder-strike were enough to catapult Liverpool to 29 points and 10th in the current league table. Liverpool will next be in league action on Wednesday at Anfield against Fulham.
