Manchester United Vs. Birmingham City: Ryan Giggs Completes Brilliant Third Goal For League Leaders

Just seconds before the halftime whistle, Ryan Giggs finished what was a brilliant team move by Manchester United who now look to be home and dry at Old Trafford with another 45 left to play. The move started with a fine bit of hustling from Dimitar Berbatov who touched the ball towards Wayne Rooney with a lunge that beat his marker.

Rooney collected the ball and back-heeled towards Berbatov and the two completed a 1-2 which put Rooney in towards the right side of Ben Foster's goal. Rooney then curled a cross around two Brum defenders and found Ryan Giggs on the left who struck past Foster into the top of the net.

The move itself took just seconds to construct and complete and it's sure to be one for the highlight reels. Now at the half, Alex McLeish needs to inject a bit of heart into his Brum side or they'll risk conceding another two or three goals. The Birmingham City defense has had no answer for United's attackers, specifically Giggs, Rooney and Berbatov.
