Frederic Piquionne's sending-off may have just come back to haunt the Hammer. Desperate for three points, last place West Ham United looked on their way to a surprise win at Goodison Park after a late Frederic Piquionne header put them up on Everton. But in celebrating, the striker saw a second yellow card, and when Marouane Fellaini found net in the 92nd minute, it looks like the Frenchman's mistake may have cost the Hammers two needed points.

But for Everton, Fellaini salvaged a result and saved them from an embarrassing loss, this right-footed finish from 13 yards beating Robert Green to the far, left post, leaving the match drawn 2-2. The goal was somewhat similar to Diniyar Bilyaletdinov's in show it was built - long ball knocked-down for an Everton strike. This time, instead of doing the knocking-down, Fellaini was on the end of a flicked-on ball, turning on a ball won at the edge of the box, catching defense and `keeper off goal for his strike.
The result would normally be disappointing for an Everton side in need of three points, but being second away from a loss, the Toffees will have to be content with their dramatic draw. With a goal and an assist, Marouane Fellaini has saved Everton from an embarrassing result.
