Hasn’t taken them long has it? Barcelona have come racing out of the blocks to take an early lead in their match against Racing Santander at the Camp Nou. You had the feeling it wasn’t going to be the most difficult of matches for the hosts, and it would appear they are already well on the way to the three points, as Pedro chested in the opener from about an inch out.
Barcelona Vs Racing Santander: Pedro Gives Barca Early Lead
The goal was courtesy of an outrageous one-two inside the Racing area by Andres Iniesta and Leo Messi, with the latter dinking the ball over Toño and onto the chest of Pedro who couldn’t miss. That’s Pedros 11th goal of the season, which is a superb contribution from the young winger.
Looks like this match is going to be one way traffic, with Pedro having been caught offside a couple of times when through on goal, while Messi has had an effort ruled out for offside. I reckon there’ll be four or five for Barca in this one. Just too easy.
