Deportivo La Coruña Vs. Sevilla: 1-0 Halftime, Lassad Nouioui Golazo Covers Up The Smell Of A Stinky Half

Deportivo La Coruña’s Lassad Nouioui hit a superb goal in the 15th minute of their game against Sevilla, but to be honest, it was the only real moment of quality for either team in the first half of the game.

Has anyone else seen the Family Guy episode where Brian is explaining The Blair Witch Project to a blind person?

“Nothing’s happening, nothing’s happening...something about a map. Nothing’s happening, nothing’s happening...it’s over. A lot of people in the audience look pissed.”

That’s basically what’s going on at Estadio Riazor. Except:

  1. The home fans' team is actually ahead, and
  2. There are about 12 people in the stands, so it's impossible for a lot of people in the audience to look pissed.

But yeah, that goal was really cool. Sevilla are playing really defensively despite the fact that Depor are a really bad team, and despite the fact that Sevilla are playing defensively and Depor are a really bad team, Lassad scored a stunner and Depor are winning.

It’s a funny old game.
