Palermo have only hit the target with two of their shots this afternoon at the San Siro, and those two shots have been all they have needed to drop two goals on Inter Milan. The first came from Fabrizio Miccoli in the 5th minute, and Antonio Nocerino doubled the lead on 36 minutes.

Despite Palermo’s two goal lead, Inter Milan have literally been all over them, battering the goal with shot after shot. The Palermo midfield are being outplayed, but goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu and the Palermo defense are having a great game thus far.
The pace of the game has been great, with both teams looking to break out quickly on the counter when they dispossess the other. Inter Milan have been the better side in just about every department...but finishing. Arguably, that’s what matters most.
