The homes side have been focusing their attacks mainly on the right, where Daniel Didavi has gotten plenty of touches. although Stuttgart haven’t produced much with their possession aside from some distance shots and one very nice volley from Christian Träsh. Freiburg’s opener came at the end of a long passing move; Maximillian Nicu slid a through ball to Flum on the right side of the penalty area, and the German midfielder slipped the ball in to give the visitors the lead. Freiburg looked the more dangerous just after their opener, but Stuttgart have responded well and will hope to level the scores before halftime.
