Before today, Sebastian Giovinco looked like one of the major busts of the summer transfer window. Today, he has proven his worth in scoring a brace, his second goal coming just three minutes into the second half. Once again, the former Juventus player did not celebrate his goal. Parma now have a 2-0 lead against ten men, with the game appearing to be as good as over at this point.
Juventus Vs. Parma: Sebastian Giovinco Makes It A Brace Against His Former Club
Felipe Melo has to feel like he truly lost this game for Juventus, as Parma looked like a pretty terrible team up until the first goal. This one came on the counter attack, with Francesco Valiani assisting yet again. It was a very nice left footed finish by Giovinco to the far post of Marco Storari, but Juve’s defending was questionable at best, even if they have one less man to defend with.
Fabio Grosso has been at least partially at fault for both goals, and Amauri has transitioned from being drunk into being hungover. There’s nothing like trying to play a football match with eight men against 11.
