Juventus Vs. Parma: A Minute Of Madness Leads To Goals For Both Sides
The Juventus goal was set up by a free kick, granted to Juventus after a handball by a Parma defender 20 yards away from the goal. Simone Pepe hit his free kick well and struck the post, leaving everyone stunned and stopped in their tracks. Juventus eventually won a corner kick, and that would lead to their goal. Alberto Aquilani hit a cross into the center of the box, and Nicola Legrottaglie nodded it in, bringing Juventus back within one goal.
They would give that goal right back right off the ensuing kickoff, with Giorgio Chiellini fouling Hernan Crespo in the box. Crespo stepped up to take the penalty and he converted, restoring Parma’s two goal lead and making the score 3-1.
Crespo has since been withdrawn from the game, with Raffaele Palladino coming on in his place.
