Liverpool Contemplates The Future Of Roy Hodgson After 3-1 Loss To Blackburn
According to multiple reports, Roy Hodgson’s time at Liverpool is nearly up. After the team’s ninth defeat on the season, Fenway Sports Group is now considering whether or not Hodgson will stay. Perhaps the new ownership wants to bring in someone of their own choosing? Someone who is able to lift the Reds out of mid-table?
While many Liverpool fans have been calling for former player and manager Kenny Dalglish, contact has yet to be made (although one would assume his offer to manage, made when Liverpool were seeking a replacement for Rafael Benitez, still stands). While previously the ownership said Hodgson will have until the end of the season to make an impact, they are under under mounting pressure from the fans to make a change, and Dalglish would likely at least appease the support, even if it is only temporary.
