Palermo have taken control of their match against Sampdoria, doubling their lead only five minutes after the second half kickoff. Just like the first goal, the entire team was involved in the goal, with Giulio Migliaccio providing the finishing touch.

Fabrizio Miccoli started the part of the Palermo move that lead to the goal, spraying the ball out wide left to Federico Balzaretti. The left back hit a nice cross to the center of the goal, and Migliaccio dove to win the ball. He made great contact and the ball went into the back of the net, past Gianluca Curci, capping off a great team goal.
Sampdoria were looking decent before the goal and have looked decent since, but they have lacked the killer instinct to finish their chances. Giampaolo Pazzini has not been the lethal finisher tonight that he has been throughout most of his career.
