Just days after Eren Derdiyok scored this gorgeous overhead goal, Málaga's Julio "La Bestia" Baptista did his best to one-up him with a 94th minute bicycle kick winner against Getafe. While I admit that Derdiyok's goal had that incredible twisty-turny-Ronaldinho-y-je ne sais quoi that "the Beast's" version lacks, I'm confident that the raw power of this blast--and the timing, winning the match in the 94th minute--more than makes up for the apparent lack of acrobatics (which is pretty minimal considering that he basically does a flip).

But hey, what the hell do I know. I’m just glad that Málaga’s goals came via Ruud van Nistelrooy (from three feet out--did you really expect anything else?), Enzo Maresca, and Julio Baptista. Isn’t that a weirdly unlikely trio?
So here’s the breakdown: Málaga has been pretty inconsistent so far this season, and was actually losing the match (1-2) until the 88th minute when Maresca poked in a tip from three feet away (sensing a pattern yet?). Then, five minutes later, la Bestia unleashed this blast. Pretty sick way to turn the tables, right?
