Rioting Mars Greece Vs. Croatia In Karaiskakis Stadium

Once again, a European Championship match has been marred by hooliganism. This time it's Greece vs. Croatia in Greece, where referee Howard Webb and the local riot police are having to deal with... well, everything.

First words were exchanged. Then bottles were thrown, and thrown back. Having exhausted their supply of bottles, the Croatian delegate opted to use chairs. Then flares. Then they just started setting things on fire. And I mean big fire, not small, piddly fires:

The flames have gone out now, but Christ they were high - 15 or 20 feet I'd guess.

The Greek announcer has just warned the home fans that unless they dampen their ‘enthusiasm’ the game might have to be abandoned. Quite.
