Just a few months after acquiring him from the Portland Timbers, FC Dallas has traded Jeremy Hall to Toronto FC in exchange for a second round pick in the 2013 SuperDraft. Toronto FC will be Hall's fourth team in a little more than a calendar year. He was traded from the New York Red Bulls to the Portland Timbers on Nov. 22, 2010 and then sent from Portland to Dallas for Eric Alexander in August.

“We’re happy to add Jeremy Hall to our club. He is a solid defender with excellent MLS experience,” TFC Coach and Technical Director Aron Winter said in a team release. “Defense is one of the areas that we want to address this offseason and acquiring Jeremy is a positive step forward for our club.”
Due at least in part to his near constant movement, Hall has been limited to 28 starts over the past two seasons after making 22 starts his rookie year. The former first-round draft pick has been moved from midfield to fullback during that time and, while TFC will likely use him there, he has not looked as comfortable playing out of the back.
