El Clasico has been marred several times over the past year with some ugly incidents between players and coaches from both clubs. Today's meeting between Barcelona and Real Madrid managed to be a largely peaceful affair, but you just knew we wouldn't get through 90 minutes without something happening. Fortunately, this moment between Kaka and Xavi was definitely of the comical (and harmless) variety.

Come now Kaka, that’s not very sporting...but it’s certainly funny.
The only disappointing thing about this clip is the fact the camera panned to follow the referee, keeping us from enjoying Xavi’s stunned reaction to being suddenly bonked in the head with the ball. Oh well, after all the nastiness these matches have contained of late, a little fun is a welcome event.
Hopefully Xavi didn’t get too upset with Kaka but I suppose we wouldn’t blame him for being a little annoyed. Still, it’s better than someone sticking their finger in someone else’s eye.
