You know those practice matches where it’s attack against defence? That’s pretty much what I’m watching right now. Real Madrid are literally camped just outside the Levante penalty area and the Madrid players are taking it in turns to take a potshot at Munuas goal. On the odd occasion that the ball does enter the Madrid half, the ball runs through to the redundant Adán.

Cristiano Ronaldo just came close to making it three with a bullet header from Di Marias exquisite pass, but Munua was equal to his effort, tipping the ball acrobatically over the bar. Lass Diarra and Sami Khedira are enjoying the freedom of the Bernabeu in the middle, both enjoying fine games. The only blot on Lass Diarras match was his obligatory yellow card for a wild sliding tackle. He just loves a yellow card doesn’t he!
Quite how this match is only 2-0 only Real Madrid will know. Good chance to rack up the goal difference being wasted here!
