Zenit have been pushing for a goal all game, with a couple of great blocks and bad misses coming in the first half, but Danko Lazovic, in as a “striker,” but really more like a false nine for Alexander Kerzhakov, is the man who scored in the 41st minute to bring the hosts back into the game. Roman Shirokov provided a great a through ball on the goal, playing Lazovic into the center of the penalty area, where he finished past Marco Wolfli.
