Apparently, Martin Kelly picked up a minor knock in the first half, leading him to be replaced by Jamie Carragher. Liverpool are now playing with four true central defenders along their back line in addition to two defensive midfielders, along with Dirk Kuyt and Raul Meireles, who are both good two way players. The last time a football match saw a team so unambitious was Stoke’s first year in the Premier League.
